Common questions
How long do you get on the island?
Up to 5.5 hours on the full-day 9am departure. Half-day options give you roughly 2 to 3 hours.
Can you snorkel from the beach?
Yes. Green Island is one of the few Great Barrier Reef stops where you can walk in from the sand, which is why it works well for children and nervous swimmers.
Snorkel gear or glass bottom boat — which?
Snorkel gear if you want to be in the water. Glass bottom boat if you would rather stay dry or are travelling with someone who does not swim. Both fares cost the same.
Is there a pickup from my accommodation?
Yes — we run a private shuttle from Cairns city and the Northern Beaches at $60 per leg. Add it when you book.
